Get a new Unique Entity ID in without Registration

About this event

Join the Integrated Award Environment (IAE) for the second in a series of events to keep you up to date with the latest information about the new Unique Entity ID (SAM). Join us on Wednesday, November 3, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. EDT for a walkthrough of getting a Unique Entity ID (SAM). We will also have an opportunity for Q & A at the end.

By April 4, 2022, the federal government will transition away from the use of the DUNS Number and toward the new Unique Entity ID as the primary means of entity identification for federal awards government-wide. If you already registered in, you’ve already been assigned a new Unique Entity ID! It’s viewable in your entity registration record in Learn more about this government-wide transition at Just click the green button at the top right for FAQs on the topic.

You are now able to get a new Unique Entity ID (SAM) in; full registration is not required if you only need a Unique Entity ID (SAM). If you have a DUNS Number and need to get the new Unique Entity ID (SAM), attend this Stakeholder Forum to learn how this works on
