Gain Access to Federal Contracts with HUBZone

The Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) certification is designed to help small businesses have a competitive advantage when bidding for government contracts. If your business is located in Eureka, Arcata, Fortuna, so hum, tribal lands, Del Norte, Trinity, or Siskiyou Counties or parts of Shasta County—Your business may be eligible for set aside HUB Zone contracts.

• How to determine qualification
• Common problems associated with the certification process
• The application and how to apply
• How to maintain certification once certified


This workshop is facilitated by Christina Jones, Sr./ Lead Procurement Specialist, Norcal PTAC 


To qualify for HUBZone Certification your business must be a Small Business located in a HUBZone and have at least 35% of your employees live in a HUBZone.
