Last year the State of California spent more than $10 billion on goods and services, including more than $3 billion with small businesses. State agencies buy everything from construction, HR and lab services to coffee beans and dog food. They even buy goats for grazing!

For businesses new to state contracting or those who want a refresher. Understand the basics of State government contracting. Learn how to get certified as a Small Business or Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (SB/DVBE) for a competitive advantage. Understand the basics of State government contracting.
