Discovering Opportunities in the Government Marketplace

Discovering Opportunities in the Government Marketplace

Tuesday, September 14, 2021 10:00am to 11:00am

During this webinar, we will review the resources available to help you gather the data you need to take the plunge into the world of government contracting. We will also discuss the basics of getting started in government contracting and marketing yourself to appropriate agencies.

Is government contracting the next step in the evolution of your company? The best way to find out is by doing market research. Market research involves reviewing numerous sources to determine if the government buys what you sell, how much they buy, and what agencies buy what you have to offer. If you decide to move forward, narrowing down what agencies buy your products or services will help you determine your marketing strategy.

Webinar Topics Include:

  • Market research techniques
  • How to search government databases such as Federal Procurement Data System (FPDS),,, California State Contract & Procurement System (SCPRS) and federal opportunities on
  • Determine agencies that buy what you sell
  • Marketing yourself to agencies that buy what you sell
