CPUC/Joint Utilities Virtual Small/Diverse Business Expo

At this Expo, you have the chance to virtually network with utilities, public agencies, and resource centers representatives to share information, learn of opportunities, understand the available business resources, and connect and build mutually beneficial relationships.

The CPUC conducts small business expos throughout the state to promote procurement opportunities and educate businesses on important topics such as “How to Do Business with State Agencies and the Utilities." The purpose of the expos is to:

  • Help connect small and diverse businesses to utilities and government procurement specialists.
  • Educate small and diverse businesses on the benefits of becoming certified as a small business, woman-owned, minority-owned, disabled veteran-owned and/or LGBT-owned business.
  • Enlighten small and diverse businesses of utilities’ best business practices and “how to get in the door” with utility companies.
  • Inform small and diverse businesses of utilities and government contract opportunities.
  • Provide networking with other business owners.
