Yuri joined the U.S. Small Business Administration in 2012 after 20+ years as a federal contracting officer for the USDI-Bureau of Land Management and US Fish & Wildlife Service in Oregon. Her contracts included natural resources-related projects as well as many complex construction, A-E, and IT contracts including on a national level. For several years, Yuri was an SBA Business Opportunity Specialist helping 8(a), Veteran-Owned, Woman-Owned and HUBZone certified firms succeed in the federal marketplace. Since becoming an SBA Office of Government Contracting Procurement Center Representative in 2018, she works closely with federal agencies in OR, ID and Northern CA to assure small businesses are used to the maximum possible.

U.S. Small Business Administration

Aaron is the Procurement Center Representative (PCR) for the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), Office of Government Contracting, Area Office VI. Aaron is responsible for working with the federal buying activities in California to encourage increased small business participation and for managing the Certificate of Competency program. Prior to coming to SBA, Aaron worked for the Defense Contract Management Agency as a Contract Administrator. Aaron has had a diverse career: he has spent time in private industry managing government contracts for a large contractor and he was a Subcontract Manager responsible for awarding subcontracts at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena. Aaron holds a B.S. in Business Administration from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona with a Minor in Contract Management.
